DIA DE LOS MUERTOS RETREAT

Create an experience for individuals who have lost a loved one in the last year as an opportunity to reframe grief with a celebration of life. Traditional aspects of the holiday such as wreaths, marigold flowers, meals, face painting, photos, etc. will go on throughout the property with a dedicated space for guests to share their favorite memories of their loved ones. It will be both therapeutic and and fun. Partner with a US company to lead a cathartic beachfront therapy session. Portion of proceeds could be donated to mental health organizations for those dealing with grief.

PRESS TRIP

One trip… two resorts…infinite memories & experiences for all.

Agency suggests hosting a dual press trip with both properties with a Ying-Yang/Cancun hopping theme to promote Cancun for everyone (family, group, relaxation and wellness, adventure, couples/adults only).

Instead of focusing on a single type of writer, we host a well rounded group who focuses on adventure, leisure, family and wellness. By creating a thoughtful itinerary that appeals to all audiences, we can promote both properties seamlessly.

Alternatively, we can identify one resort to be the focus for the trip based on client feedback and needs.

CANCUN FOR EVERYONE

SOBER OCTOBER and BEYOND

Let’s revisit the idea of 150 Mocktails to counter the 150 Margarita menu. The media opportunities for this one are endless. We can see the headlines now: “This hotel offers guests 150 Mocktails to choose from at its lobby bar…”

Partner with a beverage/culinary influencer to help curate the menu and bring attention to it, or host a small group of influencers to be a taste test panel in advance of the menu reveal.




2026 planning

The new year will be here before we know it. Agency suggests setting up a strategy meeting to discuss successes of the past year, alongside business goals and needs for 2026.

From here, agency will create the 2026 PR plan.

Agency will pitch unique storylines and offerings that align with trends, holidays and specialty days, as well as develop and create compelling story angles to keep JW Marriott Cancun and Marriott Cancun, An All-Inclusive Resort in the media year-round.
